Reiki Master Teacher
Hi there. My name is Rob Melville. Ros and
I met in the period of time after she had finished Reiki II and was getting
ready to do her Masters.
After a bit of procrastinating she decided
to go ahead with it and arranged to study with Martine at the Blue Angel Book
Shop.
All was going fine until one day Ros came
home and told me that she was going to be away on the Saturday and Sunday coming
to attend a Reiki I class as part of her training. The first thing that I
thought was great. Videos, Pizza etc generally a lazy weekend ahead. But as the
day approached and the more that I thought about it the more I was leaning away
from a lazy weekend and heading towards wanting to attend the coarse also. So
completely without any prompting from Ros I signed myself up.
The two days were a real revelation to me
having had an extensive Martial Arts background here was the other side of the
coin.
During the next couple of months Ros
continued doing her Masters training and as we were going through her personal issues
together and gaining strength through it, I decided to do Reiki II which was even better again.
After several years I too completed my masters and will be looking to increase
the awareness of Reiki and natural healing in the male population.
Together Ros and I are pursuing our goals
of making Reiki available to all and having a centre to support in making this
possible.
I have continued with the healing
lifestyle and learnt massage with a lean towards Reflexology. I have a
certificate 4 in Massage Therapy from the Australian College of Natural
Medicine, and a Diploma in Remedial Therapies from Swinburne TAFE. Ros and I converted a room in our house to a healing room which
we use for Massage, Reiki, Counselling and other healing. We also have another
room in the house for a class room large enough to hold groups and set up tables
for Reiki group sessions.
