Reiki Master / Teacher.
Hi. My name is Ros and I would
like to share a personal experience and the reason why I got
into Reiki in the first place.
For many years I have had a
heart condition, which means that I have a very fast heart
beat at times due to stress, tiredness etc. I was about to
attend a class for Meditation with Psychic Development when
I suffered one such attack which was bad enough to cause me
to consider taking myself to hospital. So I phoned up the
instructor and was about to cancel when she suggested that
I still attend as there was two Reiki channels attending.
The two ladies did a hands on for about 15 minutes and the
pain abated but my heart was still racing. I drove myself
home and as soon as I lay down my heart beat returned to
normal.
I was amazed !!!! I had to find
out more about this Reiki. So I went along to a Reiki
morning held by my soon to be master and had a full Reiki. I
was convinced. Soon after I found myself learning Reiki and
going through some issues that I had suppressed for many
years - but are now thankful to be rid of them.
Reiki II followed a few months
later and more and more issues were faced. The load on my
shoulders was lightening every day. I thank my master and
the people that I was associated with at that time. It was a
hard time for me but very rewarding and I had no end of
encouragement.
I was then lead to my next
teacher who at time has lead me to answers to many of
the questions that I asked of her.
My life and direction has
completely changed and I feel that I have really started my
journey now and it feels great.
As I go along this path I have
been introduced to other skills which only strengthen what I
have learned and these, along with my Reiki given me a lot
more strengths and abilities to first help myself and then
to help and guide others.
My skills now include: Reiki
Mastership, Clinical Counselor, Holistic Counselor,
Certificate IV in Workplace Training and a Graduate
Certificate in Expressive Therapies.
